Parents and guardians are invited to a General Meeting called by the Committee of Management for Monday 26 July 2010 at 7pm, to be held at the Centre. There will be one item on the agenda:
- A Special Resolution to amend our Constitution
The Committee of Management has agreed to propose a Special Resolution to amend the Annie Dennis Children’s Centre Constitution as follows:
- Annie Dennis Children’s Centre will ask and get written consent from parents or guardians of children attending Annie Dennis Children’s Centre to become members of the Association. Other eligible persons must apply in writing to the Committee for membership.
The Associations Incorporation Act 1981 requires that a Special Resolution be put to the vote at a General Meeting to which all members of our Association (i.e. all parents and guardians) have been invited.
Our monthly meeting (for July) will be held directly following the General Meeting on the same evening, and all parents and guardians are welcome to attend. If you have any questions about the amendment or the meetings, please contact the Committee via the office.

Only one more sleep till the Wine Tasting Night at Northcote Town Hall!
The fun kicks off at 7pm this Saturday night with jazz outfit Tim Pledger Trio, and Plunkett wines (www.plunkettfowles.com.au) by the glass.
If you like what you’re tasting, place an order for a bottle (or more) and Plunkett will deliver to the Centre (you pay later). A percentage of all wine sales is donated by Plunkett to the Centre.
Plus there will be a selection of delicious nibblies to accompany the fine wines.
We’ll also be drawing the raffle with over $550 worth of delicious goodies to be won. If you can’t make it on the night you can still be in the draw - just drop off your tickets and money at the office by 6pm Friday.
See you then!

Everyone is welcome to the ADCC Working Bee this Saturday afternoon (19 June).
Check out the display in the foyer for information on what the Environment Subcommittee has planned. There are small repairs to play and other equipment, gardening projects, plus lots of general sprucing up to be done.
And of course this is the time to bring in your cuttings and seedlings for planting.
The fun starts at 1pm, there’ll be bowls of hearty soup for everyone in the afternoon, and children are, of course, most welcome to come along and join in.
