How to apply for a kindergarten place
The City of Darebin operates a Kindergraten Centralised Waiting List on behalf of all kindergarten services within the municiplaity to facilitate the placement of children in these services. The Centralised Waiting List system places children into the Kindergarten programs. Kindergarten places are allocated according to the date of application. You can register once your child turns two years of age.
Application forms are available from all Kindergartens and Maternal Child Health Centres in the City of Darebin, all community based child care centres and neighbourhood houses participating in the Centralised Waiting List system, all City of Darebin Customer Service Centres and the City of Darebin Early Years and Children’s Services office at
