Only one more sleep till the Wine Tasting Night at Northcote Town Hall!

The fun kicks off at 7pm this Saturday night with jazz outfit Tim Pledger Trio, and Plunkett wines (www.plunkettfowles.com.au) by the glass.

If you like what you’re tasting, place an order for a bottle (or more) and Plunkett will deliver to the Centre (you pay later). A percentage of all wine sales is donated by Plunkett to the Centre.

Plus there will be a selection of delicious nibblies to accompany the fine wines.

We’ll also be drawing the raffle with over $550 worth of delicious goodies to be won. If you can’t make it on the night you can still be in the draw - just drop off your tickets and money at the office by 6pm Friday.

Put Saturday 24 July in your diaries, and book a babysitter ASAP!The annual Annie Dennis Wine Tasting Night is a chance to sample some excellent wines from Plunkett’s and enjoy the sounds of local jazz outfit the Tim Pledger Trio at the Northcote Town Hall.    

We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Welcome Night this coming Friday 26 March. If you can help out for half an hour with cooking sausages or selling drinks, please add your name to the list in the foyer.There’ll be plenty of fun on the night (5.30pm to 7.30pm) with local band the Western Swingin’ Dummy Spitters, an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, and the raffling of the Pedal-Less Bike (you have to be in it to win it!). All parents, carers and siblings are welcome. And if you are coming along, don’t forget to RSVP via the room lists.

A ticket of only $5 gets you into this fundraising event that includes the chance to sample Plunkett Fowles wines, a spread of nibblies, live jazz music by the Tim Pledger Trio, and a lucky door prize. Don’t miss out! It’s a great chance to catch up with familiar faces, or bring along your own group of friends.

Annie Dennis Children’s Centre receives a percentage of all wines sold, so  every purchase you make means your money is going to a great cause.

We will also be announcing the winners of the Mystery Raffle Draw. Prizes such as spa packs, dinner vouchers and coffee and chocolates to the value of $50 could be yours. Check out the display in the foyer of the Centre.

Book your babysitters now! It’s less than a month till the ADCC wine tasting night…

Come along to the family morning tea at the Centre next Thursday, from 9am to 10.30am in the Bastings St yard.

It’s a great chance to catch up with other families over a tea or coffee. Fruit and muffins will also be provided.

Due to the weather forecast for this Saturday (hail, possible thunder storms, 55km per hour winds and a top temperature of 16-degrees), the Twilight Concert & End of Year Celebration has been postponed.

Tables are filling up quickly, but there are still places available for the annual ADCC Quiz Night & Live Auction at 7pm on Saturday 26 July. This is one of the Centre’s biggest fundraising events, held in the beautiful Northcote Town Hall. Join a table by putting your name down on the noticeboard near the front door. Tickets ($15) are for sale from the office. The full list of prizes for the Live Auction will be announced later this week.
